This Thanksgiving is an opportunity to think outside the box of your family’s Thanksgiving traditions because you find them comforting in these uncertain times. Regardless of which camp you fall into, we’ve put together a list of low-stress ways to safely celebrate Thanksgiving amid the pandemic.

Celebrating Thanksgiving in New Ways

If you live in a warmer climate, consider taking advantage of the nice weather by having your Thanksgiving dinner outside.

Try to start new traditions.

You can dine virtually, All of your family can come together these holidays and safely dine together. You can organize a meal exchange among a few households. Then have your Thanksgiving dinner via Skype or Zoom.

How about ordering and sending food. You can always order basic precooked sides from the grocery store. But also consider picking up food from a local restaurant, which is a great way to support your local business during these times.

One more great suggestion is to donate to those in need. This Thanksgiving is especially poignant due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as many people have lost loved ones or are experiencing financial hardships. Why not help others during the holidays.
